Israel Power & Love Mission Trip
Donation protected
I have been given the opportunity to serve alongside Todd White, Robby Dawkins, and the Lifestyle Christianity team as one of 47 team members for the Israel Power & Love Conference in Jerusalem this March!
During the conference, we will be ministering to the local people in Jerusalem for 4 days and will then have the opportunity to tour some historic sites around the Holy Land before returning home.
Why me and why this trip?
If I wanted to go to a conference like this, I could do that closer to home. If I wanted to minister to people, I could do that around home any day. If I wanted to go on a trip to see some sights, I could do that on my own dime.
I have done all those things and I think that's actually part of the reason why God is directing me specifically to this trip. Having been faithful with little, I believe there is something about this specific opportunity that will take me to a new level of productivity in his kingdom. To be totally honest, that’s all I have to go on right now. The impression I have in my gut is that I will fully understand the purpose of me being there only after I go.
This will be a time of truly ministering to our brothers and sisters in Israel. While I'm sure we'll have some fun along the way, this won't be a vacation. It will be a training ground and, I believe, a time of equipping and positioning for the new things God is doing (Is 43:18-19). And I don't fully understand it yet, but it feels to me there will be a spiritual significance to all of this happening in the very land that Jesus walked in the week leading up to Passover and Easter.
One of the biggest challenges for me in this is to humble myself and lean on God to provide the time and finances needed to make it happen. The cost of the trip is $4,175, which will cover round-trip airfare, transportation, conference admission, lodging, and most food. It's a big ask, but not too big for a good God who loves us and has empowered us to advance his kingdom. The kingdom economy thrives on giving and receiving and this trip requires me to practice both. So I am asking for support from those who feel led to partner with me and I'm trusting God to provide.
I am hoping to raise this support by January 31st, but the absolute cutoff is February 12th. If I don’t raise enough support by then, I will be returning all contributions. I know it’s a short timeline, but if God wants me there, I know he will make it happen.
I am incredibly grateful for your support, both in prayer and/or financially. Thank you so much for partnering with me in this kingdom work!
