Hi! First, I want to thank you for taking the time to help support and read the story that sounds all too familiar about our youth who seeks higher education with financial hardship. However, this is a special case.
Meet Keyari Page. Keyari initially began her education in the Public School system where she was placed in special education with speech and mental disability. Her grandmother decided to transfer her to a private school at Antioch Christian Academy - A.C.A., where I was the President of the Board of Directors.
This was a monumental decision. With the support and personal attention of The School Principal, she not only bettered her speech but even advanced ahead of her peers by jumping from 3rd grade to 5th grade. Around that same time she was chosen to showcase her school, A.C.A before the City Council. She made a great presentation and received a standing ovation. In addition, in high school , she placed third NATIONALLY in the Rainbow Push oratorical contest.
We are asking if you can help as much as you can whether it be $1,000 or even $10, every bit helps to help her with her school fees for graduation. She would be graduating with a bachelor in Journalism from Kingston University, United Kingdom. In order to put a personality to the one you are helping, here is a short statement from the amazing, hard working young lady herself.
