Chaldean Assyrian Water Crisis
Tax deductible
We will be fundraising to help raise money to restore water infrastructure to provide clean water for drinking, hygiene, livestock and farmlands.
The Chaldean Assyrian people in Iraq have been suffering daily without essential resources. Crops are dying, livestock are dying, and communities are being forced from their ancestral homes.
Keystone Commercial Real Estate is partnering with Shlama Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, with a goal to
address the Chaldean Assyrian water crisis affecting small villages in Iraq.
The initial round of Fundraising in the amount of $20,000.00 will be allocated to the most immediate water emergency restoration programs, any funds in excess of $20,000.00 shall be allocated to future water infrastructure plans.
The following villages are in great need of water infrastructure rehabilitation:
1. Kore Gavana
2. Margarosa
3. Chaqala
4. Dure
5. Maye (which ironically means water in Aramaic)
Shlama Foundation will share photos and videos of the project implementation following the completion of work.
Let’s come together as a community to provide the most basic necessity for these families in need, access to clean water.
Together, we can do this!
You can find other completed projects by the Shlama Foundation, including videos, photos and receipts at: https://www.shlama.org/projects
