Keziah and Daughters Road to Recovery

Dear family and friends, I am Keziah's sister Keturah Haynes. I write to you on behalf of Keziah.  February 21, 2021 Keziah and her 3 daughters were victims of a brutal knife attack by her estranged husband. They were hospitalized for 5 days with severe and life-threatening injuries and they all survived. Her 4 year old Daughter who was not endangered in the incident, hid under her bed with blanket to avoid the attack and was rescued by the SWAT team. Through all the prayers and well wishes from all around the world they are all discharged out of the hospital and with the severeness of their wounds  they will need physical therapy and lots of counseling but they are in good spirits to a long road of recovery. Keziah surgery was successful but she is in a lot of pain for a while and is on heavy medication. Both of her hands are casted and she is not able to do a lot for 3 to 6 months. She had surgery in both hands to restore her tendons and nerve damage. My Mom Levette Haynes, My Sister Colleen McNeal and my Niece Naomi Clark, and Grandmother Odessa Haynes is also assisting us with Keziah and her daughters caregiving.

Keziah and her Daughter's Road to Recovery is going to be challenging due to injuries and the mental and physical therapy they have to endure but they are strong, positive, optimistic and resilient and we will keep you all updated on their progress.
