Not everyone can do the work, but we can all help. Hundreds of people asked how they could help, how they could donate, support the work of Fernando "Fernie" Quiroz and the AZ-CA Humanitarian Coalition. This all-volunteer group provides a welcoming experience to families traumatized by the mirgrant journey. Every day, Fernando spends hours at the border with people waiting up to 10 hours to be processed by immigration. He provides information about what to expect, a smile, water, and a bit of food. After migrants board a bus , Fernando spends additional time cleaning the area and gathering the personal belongings that people are forced to discard. The items that can't be taken with them is too long and heartbreaking to list, they are given a small ziplock bag and anything that doesn't fit, must be discarded immediately. 

Our greatest need is for financial support to purchase water, granola bars, and fruit. Any amount will help, thank you for your compassion and your action.
