Bring Hemi Home!!!

Four years ago, our sweet, beloved cat Hemi went missing after relocating from our home off base to a residence on base. We moved so that I could take advantage of the additional help offered to families of deployed Marines, since our girls were babies at the time, and Robert was deploying for a year. We believe Hemi went to go try to find Robert when he couldn't find his "dad" at the new house. Hemi was Roberts buddy. Despite every attempt to locate him, he was never found. Until two days ago, when I received a call from New Bern, NC animal shelter! Hemi has been found!! We have since moved on from the military and relocated to Bismarck. We are doing what we can to get him to North Dakota!! Robert was recently laid off from the railroad, and we simply can't afford a last minute trip across the country and back! In the meantime, it seems he is becoming a bit of a local celeb! Several people have asked if they could contribute, so we decided to set up an account and see what we can do! Our options are to fly him here, or drive to go get him. Apparently there are limitations on certain airlines to fly him here due to the weather conditions in Bismarck, so we are leaning towards driving to get him!
