Fundraiser for Terry!!
Donation protected
Unbeknownst to most, our Mother, Theresa (Terry) Grover was diagnosed with diabetes five years ago, as well as many other health issues such as primary immunodeficiency disorder. On Monday, June 6, 2022, she was transported to Lowell General Hospital by ambulance due to a high fever she had been experiencing for a few days. The team of doctors worked around the clock to save her life from a form of flesh-eating bacteria called Necrotizing Fasciitis. Due to the bacterial infection spreading rapidly, her left leg was amputated underneath her knee to try to contain this life-threatening infection. Fortunately, she is currently in stable condition and has been moved from the ICU. However, she has a very long road ahead of her as she must learn how to walk again and will need a prosthetic leg.
Beyond this, Terry was laid off 6 months ago due to the Covid Pandemic from her long-time career of twenty-three years with Trinity E.M.S. Inc. She has always been selfless and puts others’ needs first. After raising her five children as a single hard-working Mom, she adopted her three granddaughters to keep them from being separated and going into the system. Terry is such an extraordinary person and brightens everyone’s lives. Unfortunately, with rising medical and living expenses, Terry will not be able to afford this surgery on top of her current bills. We would be forever grateful for any donation that will help towards medical bills, mobility aids, and other expenses Terry will have going forward.
Thank you everyone!
