My name is Izzy, a 29 year old trans man in the Columbus area! I’ve finally gotten the chance to get top surgery and have a date scheduled BUT….

I unfortunately recently lost my job which means I now also don’t have insurance to help cover the costs. I’ve received a quote but now have to pay up front before December 9th. It was something that was difficult to afford before and now it’s practically impossible especially in my current situation.

I typically hate to ask, but this is something that’s so important to me feeling complete that I’d appreciate any and all help. Even with a new job, the insurance may not cover it and spent a year jumping through hoops to get to the point I’m at now and would hate to lose this chance.

My surgery was quoted at around $7200 but I’ve set the goal for $5000 for now! Anything beyond the surgery cost would go into recovery costs then back into someone else’s donation fund!!
