Olive

Hi...this fundraiser is on behalf of OLIVE . She was admitted into hospital on Tuesday morning with a diagnosis of Leptospirosis. She is literally fighting for her life against this terrible disease. She's definately a fighter and her vet says there is a good chance that she will win the battle. That said, there is a possibility that she will need to placed into ICU at the hospital, and that she will be in hospital until at least next week if not longer.

As many of you know Olive is one of the sweetest dogs ever. She adores everyone...and usually the feeling is mutual. Olive is an active dog who loves her forest walks...loves camping, canoing, kayaking and is a protector against chipmunks, frogs and squirrels. She is not quite 11 years young, and will hopefully have many more years to enjoy life and give love.

As many of you know at times vet bills can be staggering....and this is one of those times. Any money raised will go directly toward Olive's medical care. If by chance there are extra funds, I would donate it to the Canadian Dachshund Rescue of Ontario, as that is who resued and rehomed this sweet girl.
