Katie is ready to adopt!

Hi my name is Chelzie Colson. I have a very special and loving daughter who would love to be a mommy to a sweet child.
When Katie was in her twenties she came down with polysistic ovarian syndrome and endometriosis. For the next ten years she went through thirteen surgeries to try to help improve her quality of life. All the while she graduated from Auburn, moved to to Birmingham and worked with children who had been taken away from their parents for some sort of abuse. Then when it her pain became too much, she moved back to Columbus. Once she got here, she went back to college to get her BS in Education, Master's in Education and Specialist in Education. I watched her as she wrote term papers while recovering from surgery and maintained a 4.0 average. She finally had to decide whether to be in pain or to have a hysterectomy. She tried to save her eggs but the endometriosis had destroyed them.(She wanted to harvest them so she could use them later. ) So she decided to go ahead and have a hysterectomy. It was very emotional and her gynocologist sat and cried with me because he had done everything he could to save her eggs. He knew how much she wanted to be a mommy.
She picked herself up and went on with her life, becoming an excellent teacher, a wonderful aunt and a wonderful role model for students.
Through all of this, Katie kept her faith that God would let her be a mommy when it was the right time. Well, after many prayers, the time has come for Katie to become a mommy. Those of you that know her know what a great mommy she would be, and that is why we are asking for your help. We have set up this web page in hopes that you will find it in your heart to help Katie become a mommy.
Adoption costs are very high and she is trying to raise between 40 and 50 thousand. Of course any donation would be greatly appreciated.
We would like to thank you in advance for your prayers and donations.
