Support for Sonny

Our world shifted in July when my little brother, Sonny, was diagnosed with brain cancer. What started as migraines and light sensitivity led us to a doctor's visit, an unexpected MRI, and the discovery of a tumor the day before Sonny was supposed to leave for football camp.
Within that same day, Sonny was admitted to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to undergo further testing and imaging, which resulted in a Craniotomy to remove the mass just five days later.
Post-surgery, Sonny showed remarkable resilience and made the most of the last weeks of summer on the golf course. Throughout the challenges of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, Sonny has faced each obstacle with incredible grace and humility. He celebrated his sixteenth birthday during treatment with a smile on his face, stood on the sidelines supporting his teammates at nearly every game despite how he was feeling physically, and never neglected his role as a big brother to our sister Posie, carving out quality time with her whenever he was home.
As Sonny continues his treatment, eagerly anticipating his return to school, we are reaching out to our communities for support. Donations will help alleviate the strain of medical and travel expenses, allowing us to focus on providing the care that Sonny needs. Even if you're unable to contribute financially, we ask for your help in spreading the word within your own communities.
Something that has amazed me is the amount of joy we have been able to find throughout the last few months. We have laughed more as a family than ever before, which is a testament to how Sonny has taken this hardship in stride and been a leader for all of us. His quiet strength has taught us many lessons, and I am so proud to be his sister and to bare witness to his courage.
Sonny emanates faith, love, and gratitude and is a light in the lives of all of who know him. We are deeply appreciative of the overwhelming love, support, and prayers we've received during this challenging time.
Together, let's surround Sonny with the care and support he deserves as he continues his journey toward healing.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Bella
