Shoes for Children n Bello Colombia

In October of 2014 I was fortunate enough to travel to Medellin Colombia with some friends.  I immediately fell in love with the city and the people and culture. I returned again in November and December to explore more.  After meeting the Angels de Medellin and handing out over 4000 articles of clothing to children in Bello, I decided to make it my mission to do what I could to help.  The greatest need in this community is shoes for the children and 2nd is blankets.  I found a shoe distributer in Cali Colombia that can supply shoes for only $6 per pair!!! This is for quality tenis shoes for children that may only have sandals or very worn shoes.  The only people that come to the foundation are the people that really need help.  This community has over 10,000 people, yet 700 may show up in a day for help.  They are so grateful!!!  Please help me in my mission to give to a community that has given me so much.  I will be funding my own travel.  The money raised here will 100%  go towards purchasing shoes and cover the cost of getting the shoes up the mountain.  Volunteers will be there to help transport.
