I was in Kenya the whole month of November, in an orphanage with 15 kids, without running water or electricity. The association I'm in contact with has plans to solve most of the problems during 2023. But in the meantime, I am trying to address the short-term problems and make a summary of needs and prices (list below, I've kept the receipts). This month I have contributed with my own money, the school fees are fixed for the whole year, but there is a lack of school stationaries. They need an emergency deposit in case of illness or accident (this month, I brought two kids to the hospital for a hoe wound and malaria, respectively). They are trying to finalize the construction of toilets and showers, so four sacks of cement may benefit them.

How do we send the money?

It depends on the amount we raise; they lack organization, so sending everything at once would not help them.

For example, I provided food for the next three weeks, and they replied with this video showing what was bought. The communication works, and the kids are talented and worth helping out. In case of further questions, do not hesitate to ask, I tried to be essential, but obviously, the discussion is broader. It can be seen from the prices below that even 5 euros make a significant difference on a large scale.
