Khalessi got shot in her own yard

My service dog got shot in her belly by a  crossbow bolt while standing in the backyard barking at the person.  I let her out to go potty and I heard her barking so I set my daughter to check on her. I then heard the sound an arrow makes as I was at the window right by where she was. She yelped, my daughter ran back to the front of the home and the dog was limping and laid down with an arrow sticking out of her. I am a single mom with 4 kids here and the emergency vet that was awesome enough to even take her today is asking $4500 for her surgery. The arrow pierced her GI tract so at this moment we do not know if she is even going to survive. She is a very docile dog and did not even try to bite the vet even though she was in pain. She was clearly in our yard and the police are unable to do anything about this. The person had to be in my backyard standing very close to her for the arrow to go all the way through her. It was about 3 feet long. My kid could have been shot.
