Kharkiv, Ukraine to Quirindi, Australia
Donation protected
Julia and Vladimir, together with their 4yo daughter fled Kharkiv, Ukraine on 24th February 2022, the day of the Russian Invasion. Kharkiv was one of the first Ukrainian cities attacked by the Russian Federation Military.
They fled first to Poland, then Romania, and are now in Sofia, Bulgaria. They have lost everything and carry now only 1 suitcase each of personal belongings.
They have a subclass 600 Visa into Australia, but need assistance with Air Tickets to Sydney. They do not have family here. They are both professional people seeking a new life in Australia, and are very happy to settle in a Regional town.
Together with Yurii and Inna Chuchenko, my wife Jenni and I are providing sponsorship and support with all the necessary processes for transit into a regional Australian community. This includes the pathway for appropriate 449 / 786 Humanitarian Visa's. Whilst they will need support in many areas of life, given the traumatic nature in which they were forced to flee Ukraine, they are both keen to begin working here as soon as possible.
They have to vacate their current accommodation on 15th May.
Immediate financial assistance is sought for $5,000, being the cost of 3 x Air Tickets, pathway Sofia - Sydney.
Our family will provide all support needed upon their immediate arrival in Sydney, and support their pathway to Quirindi.
Thank you, in advance for your kind donation, which will bring safety and happiness for this beautiful family.
