Vivian's Story:
Vivian was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma in May 2023, after several months of calf and nerve pain that began during her return to sport recovery from ACL reconstruction completed in 2022. Vivian’s primary tumor was in the soft tissue of her right calf. Vivian fought a hard battle, enduring eleven rounds of chemo through three different regimens, tumor resection and a 12 cm nerve graft surgery in Sept and a combined fifteen rounds of SBRT radiation on her sacrum, arm and lung. In early 2024, Vivian’s disease spread rapidly into her bone marrow and liver. Vivian lost her battle with cancer on her 16 1/2 birthday - 2/7/2024.
Many of you have followed on this journey with us since May via Vivian's CaringBridge site. We are so grateful for your continued encouragement, support and prayers for Vivian and our family, and even more so as we move forward without Vivian here on this earth. We plan to use funds raised to cover medical and funeral expenses as well as assist us in finding the best path to share Vivian’s love of playing and coaching lacrosse.
In Christ’s Love,
The Seay Family
