Dear family, friends and those we have not had the pleasure of meeting yet.
We are writing this to inform you of some serious news and ask for your help.
Pamela is a dear friend of mine. She has served people in different countries as well as from her own home. She has gone from an overseas missionary to wife and then mother.
Pamela and her husband Joel married in 2014 and have grown a beautiful family together with their two precious daughters; Heidi and Elise.
Joel, however, has been battling many health issues since the time of their marriage.
After many years of his symptoms becoming much worse and after going to multiple doctors, therapists and specialists, he has found one doctor that has been able to diagnose his illness. Actually, his multiple illnesses. The severity of his sickness has become life threatening and is requiring intensive treatment. They have tried multiple solutions. Name anything and they have tried it, but to no avail.
Joel is a hard worker, a dedicated father and a most loving husband. He has pushed through his pain but now can no longer ignore his sickness from how severe his symptoms have become.
He battled MRSA about 7 years ago and after getting treatment and being cleared by doctors because it was not visible to the eye, they said he was cured.
However, he was not cured and the MRSA stayed in his body and spread everywhere.
He still has MRSA which has been living in his body for the last 7 years! It has spread all throughout causing a very severe reaction.
He also has been diagnosed with LYMES disease as well as 3 other viruses that have infiltrated all of his nerves in his body and has put him in extreme amounts of pain.
The amount of time the viruses, MRSA and LYMES have been living in his body has affected his organs, nerves and overall immune system. He feels as though everything vital is starting to shut down.
He had a severe back injury a few years ago and he is still in pain from not proper healing. The illness in his body affects his ability to heal, not just injuries but any kind of sickness he could contract.
He has now also been diagnosed with IBS.
He can no longer eat anything without it badly affecting his stomach. He has become allergic to every food.
Joel suffers 24/7 with excruciating pain. The sickness in his body has gotten to the point that he can barely function.
He experiences on a daily basis:
Constant, intense head-to-toe pain
Limbs turn blue and purple at times and become useless
Fatigue
Weakness
Shortness of breath
Nausea and stomach pain
Inability to eat food without stomach pain
Anxiety/panic attacks, and depression, due to the pain he's enduring
Brain fog
Headaches
But...
They have found a doctor able to diagnose and treat the CAUSE of his pain and not just the symptoms.
Friends, we are asking for your help because the treatment that Joel needs is the last chance they have to heal him.
But it will require them to travel to Tennessee and get expensive treatment. His illness is so severe that he requires very aggressive treatment or this will get worse. He will have to go through stem cell therapy as well as UV blood cleansing. (a different form of dialysis.) This treatment is difficult and not an easy choice but it is their last hope.
Every other treatment and cleanse they have done has not worked. This is the closest they have come to finding their solution to heal Joel of his illness. He needs this treatment. If he does not get this treatment:
they fear that he will not live long.
This will require them to dedicate most of their time to travelling and also recuperating because the treatment will affect his ability to work, let alone function.
We need your help in prayer and in action. They need funds for travel, living expenses and this treatment. They cannot do this by themselves. They have served and loved so many others faithfully. I am asking you to help them now. This is their last and only resort. Please consider giving to this family so Joel can live a long and healthy life with his wife and two beautiful daughters.
