Hi, my name is Robert and I’m starting a fundraiser for my grandparents who loss nearly everything during Hurricane Ian.
My grandparents currently reside in an elderly housing community, Good Samaritan Society, In Kissimmee, Florida. With no electricity and a non-functioning sewage system, the area is almost uninhabitable. It’s estimated that 3ft of water overtook the entire community, and has left a majority of their residents homeless. The majority of their community has already been condemned, and News outlets have stated that Osceola County is believed to consider seizing the entire community because of the flooding and uninhabitable living conditions caused from Hurricane Ian.
Sadly, our grandfather is battling his second bout of cancer, and our grandmother is legally blind which is making these times even more difficult and stressful. We’re currently searching for housing for them here in the Orlando area.
The devastation that Hurricane Ian has brought to many families in our surrounding areas is heartbreaking. Lives have been changed forever. And countless people are in desperate need of our help in so many ways.
We are kindly asking you to consider donating to this fund. Funds raised will use to purchase needed supplies such as water, gas, food, clothes, housing, etc.
we thank you all so much and will provide updates as time goes on!
