Jada Cousins Farewell

On March 8, 2024, tragedy struck as Jada Cousins and Kaia Hodge, students of South Mecklenburg High School, lost their lives en route to school. Jada, a vibrant senior, held a bright future ahead. She had been accepted to prestigious institutions such as Spelman, Morgan, Purchase, ECU, Pace, and UAlbany colleges. Excited about her upcoming summer job in DC and planning to enroll at Morgan State University, Jada was on the brink of new adventures. Additionally, she had worked diligently at Duck Donuts, Harris Teeter, and most recently Krispy Kreme. Turning 18 on March 20th, Jada’s life was full of promise and potential. Now, her family, along with Kaia’s, is reeling from this devastating loss. We implore your support and prayers during this trying time. This fundraiser aims to ease the financial strain associated with their farewell. Your contribution will provide comfort to their grieving loved ones as they come to terms with this profound loss.
