Help us rebuild our house in central Portugal

Our house, in Portugal, that we built with lots of efforts along years, burned down in the huge fires of 2017. We were two, now we are three, and still waiting for any of the promised help from the Portuguese state since 2017.

We cant wait no more.

One thing happened after all this time: we realize we want to make this a house a place to receive people engaged in regeneration on Nature ( we do have a 1.5 hectares of burned land that we are regenerating).

So this first step of putting a roof and a kitchen is the first step in creating a space of sharing, education, regeneration of the soul. Our project then will go in the direction of having up to 3 micro houses for remote workers that want to help in the free time with forest building. The house will be a co-work space during the day.

We need up to 12.000 euros, but as we know money is scarce for all of us we realize that with the volunteer that we have and with our know-how in building we can start with half of that. We have got the tools ( it was a donation after the fires), we have an architect, we are ready to help locally to change globally- This space will be the office of a new local association of eco-social intervention, as soon as we have the conditions.

So, i believe that this dream is a shared dream, something possible and something we can put together: when ready we all can come and visit and stay and play. it is not a promise, its something its happening already- do come and visit. now, imagine what we can do with a roof on!
