Khloe Thompson, the unstoppable force of kindness, is back and ready to embark on her mission to Ghana once more. Her aim? To continue igniting the flames of inspiration among children in Ghana and raise awareness about the power of international giving. But that's not all—Khloe has an exciting new endeavor on the horizon: The launch of a Creative Arts Studio in Ghana.
Khloe Kares, a 501(c)3 Charitable Organization, was founded by Khloe Thompson at the tender age of 8. You might recall her as the philanthropic prodigy who distributed an astounding 20,000 Kare Bags to individuals experiencing homelessness. She also made headlines for her fundraising efforts, including the #BlackPanther Challenge and support during Chicago's Polar Vortex crisis.
Fast forward to today, and Khloe has transformed into a fearless 16-year-old leader. Her list of accomplishments includes the installation of three water pumps and two bathroom facilities in schools where clean and safe water access was a distant dream. But that's not all—Khloe now conducts various leadership workshops and actively engages youth in the global youth campaign with Giving Tuesday.
Since its inception in 2016, the Khloe Kares organization has proudly expanded its reach beyond borders. Khloe's annual campaign extends to Ghana, where she mentors children and spreads her message: "You can be the Change at any Age." During her visits, she installs essential water pumps with accompanying bathroom facilities and conducts transformative leadership workshops, impacting the lives of thousands of children.
Khloe Kares made its triumphant return to Ghana in December 2019, marking a significant milestone by installing the third water pump and second bathroom facility. This journey is a testament to the unwavering commitment of Khloe and her organization to make the world a better place, one act of kindness at a time.
Join Khloe on her inspirational journey and witness the incredible impact she's making on young lives in Ghana and around the world. Together, we can all be the change, regardless of age or background.
As Khloe matures, she is determined to achieve her goal of providing a community center for those in need. She is excited to spread her wings by building a Creative Arts Studio in Ghana with her 4th water pump. This studio will be a space for young people to cultivate their skills in the arts and film. This trip is curated with cultural activities, workshops for the youth, donation drop offs and she will start the groundwork and planning to put her 2 plots of land that the Chief of Heman, Nana Apau Wiafe Ababio Sanwoansan gifted Khloe at Kwabre Heman, Ashanti Region of Ghana into productive use.
The land was gifted to Khloe for any project of her choice which has turned out to be the proposed Film and Creative Arts Studio. Khloe envisions her land to be developed into a Creative Art Studio, that will bring educational resources, creative art, film production, leadership opportunities and encourage young people to dream big and reach their
goals.
With the help of donors like you she will bring thousands of school supplies, new shoes, hygiene products and soccer balls to schools and villages.
Whether it's making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give. Khloe Kares strives to build a world in which the catalytic power of generosity is at the heart of the society we build together, unlocking dignity, opportunity and equity around the globe. Khloe has been recognized by major organizations across the USA such as UNICEF, The George W Bush Points of Light Foundation, Born This Way Foundation, Clinton Foundation and others.
