Pursuit of Justice for Shelly Auguste

Dear friends, supporters, and concerned individuals,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to provide an update on the ongoing legal battle with DP. The past few years have been marked by a series of lawsuits and allegations between us, and I believe it's important to share the current state of affairs with you.
As of late, It's becoming extremely hard for me to fight for my justice because I don't have the resources to do so. This lawsuit has been an exhausting, strenuous 3-year long legal battle. I’ve come this far and I don't want to be forced to give up.
The Allegations:
My allegations around DP include distributing explicit images without my consent, revenge p#rn, pressuring me for s&x on the pretense he was clean, recording s&xual encounters without consent, and failing to inform me about s*xually transmitted infections.
I filed a public civil suit against DP in regards to S*exual Battery, Gender Violence, violation of the Ralph Civil Rights Act, violation of the Tom Bane Civil Rights Act, Intentional Intrusion into Private Affairs, Battery, Assault, Defamation, Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress, and Fraud.
My Journey to Justice:
It's important to emphasize that my intention has always been to seek justice and accountability. I believe in my right to defend myself and to hold individuals accountable for their actions. As these civil cases continue, my goal remains to ensure that the truth prevails and that justice is served.
Justice in the Shadows:
The legal system can be complex. As the cases related to the various lawsuits between DP and me remain ongoing, I find myself in need of continued support to navigate this challenging journey. Too often, people in positions of power employ litigation as a weapon, utilizing its complexities to exploit their opponents and perpetuate their dominance. With unlimited resources and a labyrinth of legal tactics at their disposal, they bury their adversaries under mountains of paperwork, delay tactics, and legal maneuvers, all in an effort to exhaust their victims financially and emotionally.
Contingency lawyers, those who stand for the underrepresented are often at the forefront of the battle against such predatory tactics. They take on cases out of a sense of duty to “uphold the law”, “protect the vulnerable”, and (most importantly) settle…In my personal opinion. Even at the expense of the survivors' decision to get a verdict rather than settle.
Yet, the very nature of their work can leave them at a disadvantage, as they contend with powerful opponents who exploit their lack of resources and attempt to bully and undermine their efforts. Leaving them to, at times, abandon their clients in the event the financial strain begins to get too much.
The Need for Support:
I want to express my deep gratitude to all of you who have shown support and empathy throughout this process. Your encouragement has been a source of strength, reminding me that I am not alone in this fight. Your belief in justice and fairness is a beacon of hope for me during these trying times.
How Your Donations Will Be Used:
Your contributions will help cover current and future legal fees, court expenses, and other necessary costs pertaining even to my mental health and wellbeing to ensure I have the support I need to navigate this complex legal process.
Final Thoughts:
I remain committed to seeking a fair resolution to this legal matter. I am dedicated to ensuring that my voice is heard and that justice is upheld. While the path ahead may be uncertain, I am grateful for your unwavering support, which serves as a reminder that the pursuit of justice is a collective effort. Thank you for standing with me on this journey.
Sincerely,
Shelly Auguste
