Masks for healthcare workers
Well I never thought I’d be making face masks. I never thought I’d have to.
My sister sent a text asking if I could make her some. She’s a nurse, and in and out of the ‘corona room’. When they said bring a bandana or long sock to work because mask are low, all I could think was there has to be a better way!
With the coronavirus, many supplies are out. And I thought surely I could make something better fitting and more protective than a bandana or sock. I was on a mask marathon for my sister, but I’d love to be able to make and donate more.
Update: This project has funded 500 masks! They’ve been shipped to 15 states now. Hospitals, Home Health Care, and Nursing Homes. We continue to sew on! But sewing supplies and shipping adds up. If you’d like to donate, any amount would help. Thanks friends.
