Raise money for roach infestation

Hey, so I'm gonna keep my name out of this, but you can call me vixen. So like a week ago, my parents started noticing roaches around the house. It wasn't a big deal at first, because it was just one or two. But then they started to find more and more, there were roaches in the kitchen cupboards and the bathroom. My mom called the building manager and told her about the situation. They did an inspection and it turns out our apartment is heavily infested with cockroaches. We had to pack up and move to my grandma's place while they determined what we were going to do. They said that they'll need an exterminator to clear the roaches up, but that we need to pay. I did some research and found that the landlord is supposed to pay, so I told my parents that. But they said that where we live is different and that there's nothing we can do. I asked my mom how much it's going to cost and she said around a month's worth of rent (which is 1 000). My parents keep saying that everything's fine but I know that they dont't have the money. Sooo here I am now, I think posting a GoFundme could help.
