Kiba’s Leg Amputation

Hi, my name is Katrina and I’m fundraising for my puppy Kiba to have his front leg amputated. For those of you who may not know, we were taking our boys to the dog park and on our car ride there our little guy decided to jump out of the car window. While this was a very traumatic situation, we are thankful that his injuries were minimal. For the past 2 months he has been living with a brachial plexus injury, causing his leg to be limp and non-useable. My boyfriend and I were planning to put him in physical therapy being hopeful that there was a chance he could get use of this leg again and regain strength. Unfortunately, today he had another horrific scene. I had come home to him chewing his poor limp leg, while he is sitting in a puddle of blood. After rushing him to the hospital, we have decided that amputation is the best option for him. He is still the happiest little guy and this will play a huge part on his quality of life. These funds will be used to help cover the costs of surgery and recovery. We are very thankful and blessed that our Kiba is a strong pup with great family and friends that support us through this journey. We love you Kiba, praying for a smooth surgery and recovery.
