WTF I have breast CaNcEr. Help me kick its butt!

Hi my name is Nicole. A little over a week ago I got the dreaded diagnosis of breast cancer.Stage 2 and triple positive.   Lets be honest I freaked over it. But over the past weekish I have accepted it and am determined to beat it and kick its ass. I told friends and family and my boss, and we all cried over it. But the hardest one to tell was my 10 yr old son. Hes no stranger to medical situations as hes had his own battles. He was ok with me having to go to doc appointments, ok with the tests, and the chemo(6 rounds), the surgery,( end of Feb)and the radiation (every day for 6 weeks) and Herceptin infusions (an entire year!) I will undergo over the next year. But what brought him to tears is the high likely hood that I will lose my hair. So as determined as I am to make this as easy as possible on him, I found "head cooling".... its helps to save/ not lose hair while getting chemo tx. It may or may not work.... But anything is worth a try in my book. I even found a grant, applied for, and was approved for that would cover 80% of head cooling costs. I was estatic! Sign me up..... well unfortunately the oncologist that I use doesnt use the system covered by the grant. Head cooling is also not yet covered by insurance. So back to ground zero. So I am reaching out to you or anyone who might want to help me make it through this journey.

Also never realized how many random out of pocket expenses there was going to be.  Money raised will also go towards receiving that burden as well.
