Kick Start My Heart! - Benefit for Sharrie Staats

Hi, my name is Bette and my brothers and I are setting up this fundraiser as well as a benefit for our mom, Sharrie Staats.

Sharrie is a longtime resident of the community and local business owner of Nana's Helping Hand cleaning service. This spring, Sharrie began experiencing fainting spells and seizures which led to her discovering she has chronic SVD of the brain. This has led to some serious complications and abnormalities with her heart. She has a long road ahead of her with further diagnosis, treatment procedures and/or surgeries with her heart, as well as management care given the stage of her SVD is incurable and will continue to deteriorate over time.

This fundraiser/benefit is to help offset current medical expenses, as well as future medical expenses, travel expenses and lost wages.

Sharrie's biggest passions in life are her family and cleaning. She works hard each and every day to create a positive, lasting impression on our community. Anyone that knows our mom both personally as well as professionally knows her commitment to hard work as well as her huge caring heart. She is the rock in our family and is always there to lend a hand, an ear, or a shoulder to each and every one of us. We love her very much and want to help her with what we can to make this journey, if any, a little easier on her.

We are hosting a benefit for her on Tuesday October 25th from 5-8pm at Mineral Springs Brewery in Owatonna MN. There will be a silent auction as well as prize drawings and 50/50 cash drawings. All proceeds will go directly to Sharrie. So bring your family and friends and enjoy an evening of tasty local brews, bidding, drawings, snacks, and a friendly atmosphere!
