Philly Bully Team is expanding and we need your help!

Its no secret that shelters and rescue organizations are overwhelmed with the homeless population of animals right now. It is worse now than it ever has been before. Although we are extraordinarily grateful for our foster network and adopters, the rescue community simply cannot keep up with the influx of stray dogs and owner surrenders.

Things are so bad, almost shelter is euthanizing otherwise healthy dogs because they do not have the space to accommodate them. This is where Philly Pit Fix comes in.

Once we are able to launch Philly Pit Fix, we will make it our mission to not only pay for spay, neuter, vaccination and microchipping services for pitbull type dogs in our community, we will also offer transportation to and from these appointments. We know that many people who are unable to obtain basic veterinary care for their dogs, are also the same people that may not have reliable transportation to get their dogs to these appointments.

Pitbull type dogs consume most of the population at open intake shelters. They are the most likely breed category of dogs to be irresponsibly bred, neglected and discarded. We hope that Philly Pit Fix will help our favorite breed group of dogs by targeting three areas:

Reduce unwanted population through spay and neuter

Reduce expensive illness by vaccination services

Reunite owners back with their pets faster through microchipping

Reaching our $10,000 goal will help us get up and running, schedule our first appointments, establish our non profit status and purchase administrative supplies that volunteers will need to help schedule and assist community members with their appointments! Please consider a donation today!
