Friends and family - Along with three other women, I am becoming a Bat Mitzvah this year, something I have long wanted to do. All four of us chose this path at this time of our lives for a variety of reasons: to connect more deeply to Jewish spirituality, to learn more about the Torah, and to embody our Judaism in a more profound way.
In addition to our own study and growth we wanted to do a mitzvah project and chose Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley to support the growth of other women. Our goal is to raise enough money to purchase a needed refrigerator for their facilities.

We provide services in Lehigh and Northampton counties and reach nearly 2,600 people a year through our programs and services. Those include: a 24-hour Helpline, Emergency Safe House, Empowerment Counseling, Empowerment Groups, Legal Advocacy, Outreach Education, and Medical Advocacy.
