Barbershop Book Club

The purpose of this cause is to encourage youth from the inner city to read, edify them to be good people and make good decisions and help excel these young men be productive citizens and family men. We’d make sure every child is taught the importance of literacy. We will measure and scale the progression through survey, testing and performance. The platform created will be used as a start to make sure the children of this great city will be able to have a place to learn and develop their reading skills.  Also they will have the opportunity to develop their speech, group insight, and even basic financial literacy, in a safe and nurturing environment.  The ultimate goal...be able to provide scholarships to 2 students, each level(elementary, middle, high) every school year.  I would be very appreciative of any donation given, I strongly believe" it takes a village to raise a child."
