Kidney Failure
Donation protected
Hello Everyone, My name is Mayte Sampedro.
I am 43 years old. A mother of 3. I have been diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure. Since June 23rd, I have been hospitalized. I want to share my story so that you know that your donation is very much appreciated in this time of need. I entered the emergency room with cardio arrest from fluid build-up due to kidney failure. Since that day, my life has changed; I wake up every morning to prepare for the "fight of the day." I have dialysis three times weekly and have had three surgeries and back-to-back procedures. Still, GREAT NEWS! by the grace and mercy of God, I have been placed on two waiting lists so far for kidney transplant units, and now I am working on getting stronger so I can pass my evaluations. I am working on getting list approval for other places like Orlando, Largo, Gainsville and Tampa, but I would have to travel to be placed on the transplant list. My expenses are accumulating, and it's been challenging to keep up with. Friends and Family continue to help, but I understand they can only help so much. Typically I don't ask for help, but when you're in an unforeseen situation from one day to the next, and you're not prepared for it, you tend to humble down and understand that it's ok to ask. Whatever you might have to give is excellent, and if prayer is all you have, then please send those prayers up to Heaven because I know God is listening. Hear me out, I died twice, and when I was brought back to life, I decided to get baptized because I know there is a reason for me being alive today; Once again, I greatly appreciate anything you can give to help get me through this challenging time. Now that my life has changed, I'm trying to catch up with everything until I can get back on my feet. ANYTHING HELPS! God Bless you all!!
