Kidney Transplant for Young Man with 2 Children

My Son-In-Law, Christian, 28 years young, was born with degenerative kidney disease. Last month his kidneys started to fail. Last week he had surgery to install a catheter/port to begin dialysis. This week he started his dialysis routine, going 3 times/week, 4 hours each time.

Chris and my daughter, Renee, have 2 boys. Leonardo is 5 years old and Cairo is 2. Chris is one of the hardest working young men I know. He put himself through college and was a manager at our local iHop. He was always doing odd jobs to earn more and provide for his family. Unfortunately Chris will no longer be able to work and is applying for disabilty. Renee works part time, but is now looking for full time work.

All of us have registered to be his kidney donor, but it may be years before Christian can start that process. They are struggling with all the medical bills and loss of income. Hopefully you can help, but if not, we welcome your warm wishes, thoughts and prayers.
