Kidney transplant post-op living expenses

Hi, my name is Barbara Stuckey and I’m excited to share that I’ve been accepted into the St Luke’s Hospital transplant program in Kansas City! I anticipate receiving a kidney transplant end of December or January, which is right around the corner

One of the requirements will be staying in the Kansas City area after hospital discharge for 1-2 months due to frequent clinic appointments and anti-rejection medication adjustments. The hotel fee /living expenses will not be covered by insurance and I anticipate my expenses will be approximately $100-$140 per day.

I’m asking for your kind support for this fundraiser to cover living expenses post -op.

As many of you know, I was diagnosed with kidney failure 6 Years ago and have endured dialysis 3 times a week since then. I’ve finally been accepted into a kidney transplant program to receive the miracle of extended life to watch my grandchildren grow
