Help send DC children to STEM camp this Summer!

We are raising money to provide children between the ages of 3 to 8 from underprivileged backgrounds, with access to exceptional hands-on, STEAM-oriented educational programs at The Lane in Ivy City.

DRYY RUN 5K /10K '23

On Saturday, June 10th Dryy Garment Care will host the third annual DRYY RUN 5K! Dryy Garment Care is proud to sponsor this event to establish and support the KidOvation Stage Scholarship Fund to raise money for underserved children in DC to attend summer camp at The Lane in Ivy City. Our collective goal is to raise $10,000 to guarantee an opportunity for underserved children in Washington, D.C. to have access to high-quality, educational programming and materials for the entire summer and beyond. KidOvation Stage offers this programming and more and with your generosity, we will be able to expand our service offering to children and families in need.

Who will receive the scholarships?

Through our online application process, we are intentionally prioritizing applicants with a demonstrated financial need in Ward 5, and children with physical disabilities. The funds will be used to completely subsidize enrollment in summer camp for 9 weeks beginning June 19th and support programs that bring art and educational activities, supplies and instruction to underserved children in DC. Every summer, KidOvation Stage engages campers and their senses in an action-packed journey through the whimsical yet mysterious world of infinite imagination and daring discoveries. This year the theme for camp is "Uniting Humans with the World." This journey will take our campers across oceans to learn about the cultures, languages, and traditions of the humans inhabiting our beautiful planet Earth. This program is intended for children ages 3-8.
