Kids' Crusade Foundation Smiles at Christmas '22

Donation protected
For our 6th Christmas in a row we're aiming to put smiles on almost 893 children's faces.
This will be via a shoebox campaign and throwing on-site, Christmas parties with music, a hot meal, games, prizes & gifts.
Full details on the charities we support and the year-round work we do below. Please help us put a big smile on a little face this Christmas.

The Kids' Crusade Foundation is on a life-altering, life-saving mission.
A grassroots fundraising initiative, KCF is helping to provide and fulfil the basic needs that should be every child’s given right. Funding is focused on, but not limited to 4 principles: welfare, happiness, education & nutrition (W.H.E.N). Our work is made possible predominantly from a small number of supporters who donate a few pounds per week via monthly standing orders.

We're predominantly supporting the work of 3 charities - all of which KCF's founder has worked with in-person and in-situ...

WIDE Children's Home - Tirruvanamalai, India - 32 children
Since 2016: 'Nutritional Supplement Programme' - increasing nutritional value and portion sizes of daily meals.

Butterfly Space Primary School & Nurseries - Nkhata Bay, Malawi - 296 children
Since 2017: 'A Meal a Day Programme' - providing 200+ toddlers, many from food-insecure homes, across 4 nurseries in rural Malawi with a daily bowl of porridge.
Since 2021: 'School Uniform Campaign' - ensuring primary school children from families which cannot afford uniform are provided one for free.
Since 2022: 'Feminine Hygiene Programme' - providing 70 girls and young women with reusable feminine hygiene kits. The programme also incl. health lessons, continuous supply of soap and replacement pads when those are lost / damaged / worn out.

PP/SC Community Schools - Freetown & Rogboro, Sierra Leone - 590+ children
Since 2020 - 'Salary Support Package' (rural school only) - topping up teachers' salaries to a more liveable wage.
Since 2022 - 'Transport Support Package' (city schools only) - due to the current crippling inflation in Sierra Leone and the systematic sky-rocketing of public transport costs, providing teachers with a percent-based transport allowance to ensure they can get to school daily whilst still being able to afford food and other essentials for their families.

Additionally, all three charities benefit from our annual 'Smiles at Christmas' campaigns and 'Covid-response Support' packages.
All three charities also benefit from other ad-hoc KCF-funded events such as sports days and field trips, as well as ad-hoc maintenance, emergency and other support requests including the building of 5 new classrooms in rural Sierra Leone.

100% of all donations go direct to the above programmes. No salaries*. No admin fees. No branded pens or t-shirts. No waste. Completely and wholly to and for the children.

*Beside the 'Salary Support Package' for the 7 teachers in Rogboro Village Community School. Without this programme the school would likely close down.
