Students Helping Students:IBL Fundraiser for LA Fire Victims
Donation protected
The 7th-grade Exploratory elective students at Ingrid B. Lacy Middle School are raising funds for the Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation (https://www.glaef.org/).
The goal is to raise $5,000 for students in the Los Angeles area that the fire has impacted. The money will fund needs such as counseling services, educational program needs, and basic school supplies.
The Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation (GLAEF) has established a dedicated fund to direct vital resources to students, families, and educators most affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles County.
We know that the needs of LA residents are vast. This specific fundraiser connects middle school students directly to other middle school students to support fire victims and give children a chance to connect on a human level. This will be a powerful connection for both sets of students with lasting gifts and effects.
