Kids Play Equipment at Rice Lane City Farm

** UPDATE September 2024**
As you may have seen on our facebook page, the playground climbing frame has now snapped off at ground level and has been removed for safety.

While we are very grateful for the donations so far, we still have a way to go before we can buy new equipment, so if you can share, promote, or nag your employer to sponsor or match-fund, please do so !!

We are now also actively seeking quotes for a suitably sturdy climbing frame, if your company can help with this, please let us know.

Our more regular visitors will know already that our childrens play area is once again closed for repairs. We unfortunately had to lock the gate on 1st June as the structure has become unstable.

The existing play equipment has served us well as it has been in place for several years, but it has required repairs on at least three occasions previously, each time we have gained another year or so but the repairs this time are not expected to last out the summer.

We're going to perform the necessary work to reopen the park as soon as we can, but have decided to also start a fundraiser to replace the equipment.

If you, or your business, employer, friends or relatives would like to donate, please share this page widely.
