Hi, my name is Noel, and a good friend of mine, Shannon, recently had his son Lincoln unexpectedly diagnosed with Leukemia.

This diagnosis has come as a great shock to Lincoln's family.

Their little boy has always been so full of energy and active. He suddenly became lethargic & his skin became blotchy; the whanau were not expecting a diagnosis like this when they took him to emergency!

Lincoln is only four years old, and since this diagnosis, his mum and dad have had to take time out from work to attend to all his medical needs and care for their son.

It will be a long, challenging journey for this young family, and as a friend, I would like to do all I can to help this whanau out; they have no idea how long they will be off work as their primary focus right now is their son.

Let's dig deep and help this little boy and his family out; as a father myself, I can only begin to imagine how my mate, wife and their whanau are feeling right now.

Any pressure taken off the family right now will help immensely.

We hope that Lincoln makes a full recovery and gets well really soon!
