Kieran Taylor

Hi all as many of you are aware our lovely kieran was suddenly taken from our lives on 12th July leaving his broken hearted wife donna and their 2 children Blake age 5 and willow age 4. He was born with a condition called nf1, this can cause tumors and other medical issues. Kieran unfortunately was told 2 weeks ago he had a tumor on his abdominal gland which he had never known about. They recently moved house and had to register at a new doctors where they all had to go for check ups and kierans blood pressure was high. After further tests they found the tumor, because of where the tumor was it was producing a high amount of hormones making his blood pressure go dangerously high. Due to this it can also cause strokes and heart attacks. Kieran became unwell on 10th July had a check up from the ambulance service, nothing came back to raise concerns. Kieran then became seriously unwell on 11th July and was rushed in by ambulance. Kieran was now in a confused state of mind, the hospital wanted to do some tests and kieran had left the hospital. Donna was called by her neighbours to say kieran was on the front garden unresponsive. She came home and with the help of neighbours they performed cpr and he was again rushed to hospital. A couple of hours later Donna was phoned by the hospital to say kieran was in a critical state. They believe he had a stroke due to how dangerously high his blood pressure was. They did scans and found kieran has had a massive bleed on the brain caused by the stroke which has left the left side of his brain damaged. They explained to us that they could operate to help kieran but he would have no quality of life and anyone who knows kieran knows he would not want that. They monitired kieran over night to see if there was any change or improvement, unfortunately this never happened. They told us that the machines kieran was on where keeping him alive. After this the decision was completely out of our hands, the doctors had said it was in his best interests to kindly take him off the machines and let him go peacefully. He was in no pain and had no knowledge of what was going on. With all the family around kieran was taken off the machines around 1pm on 12th July, sadly kieran passed away as soon as the machines where taken away. As this is a massive shock to the family and due to finding out so recently about the tumor kieran had no life insurance and any he would of had would of been invalid. We are doing to help our Donna and the kids kindly put kieran peacefully to rest in best way we possibly can. Any help and support is gratefully appreciated in this hard time.
