Kierstin's Kidney Transplant

Hi, my name is Kierstin! I'm 22 Years old. I work full-time at a Credit Union in Idaho. My favorite things to do are, play with my dogs, go fishing, and enjoy the outdoors. I was born with a kidney that was only 30% functional and one that was the size of a grape. I have had 49 surgeries; hopefully, this will be the 50th and the last one for a while! I was also born with Vater syndrome, which resulted in my kidneys forming in my abdomen as horseshoe kidneys. Causing my need for my first kidney transplant. The doctors told my mom when I was a chilld that I wouldn't live past the age of 12. I was lucky enough to be a Make A Wish Child allowing me to go to Disney World! Fortunately my brother is a perfect match and will be able to give me his kidney in the foreseen future. I will be staying in Utah for over a month. Getting this transplant will cause me to be out of work for 2 months. Money raised will be used for post-transplant expenses, including medical, housing, and travel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
