Help Kiessence Stay In School

This is an urgent request.  Kiessence Bassett is a sophomore at Mizzou who recently lost her scholarship due to mishandling by the university. Now she is at risk of having to withdraw due to not being able to meet tuition. 

Her tuition is sitting at $5,000 and she needs assistance in meeting that amount so that they do not put her account on hold! 

Please support this amazing student, organizer and most importantly human who has done more than needed to make Mizzou a welcoming and inclusive space. She's been in meetings with admin to address anti-Black racism on campus, organizing, selling art to pay tuition, doing a fellowship and maintaining a job ALL while going to school (and this is the stuff that I can think of at the top off my head).  This has been beyond overwhelming but she does it when she shouldn't have to. And does not receive the compensation or support she deserves. 

Kiessence has said: 

"I want to do all of these amazing things such as: Law School, be Mayor it Columbia, maybe live in the governors mansion and for sure run for President. I can’t do that without an education. People think I am too focused but this is my way out, school is a must for me. Please help me with my goals. Share this with you friends and their friends please."
