Kilburn School of Dance Dance World Cup 2020

Kilburn School of Dance is a Wellingborough based dance school who have been privileged to get 43 dancers through to represent Team England at this years Dance World Cup in Rome, Italy from 26th June to 4th July. As a non lottery funded national team dancers are required to fully fund their own trips as well as cover the cost of Team England kit and Dancer entries for the week long competition.
As such we have a series of fundraising events, as well as searching for sponsors, to help cover these costs and reduce the impact on parents who will already be covering the costs of accommodation and travel to the competition.
We have already held a Xmas Party which raised just under £400 and have a Disco/Bingo Evening, Race Night as well as coffee mornings and other events. We will be looking to join up with local supermarkets to raise money through bag packing and hope that this page will also help towards hitting our overall goal which will be in excess of £7500.
To further support this a group of 7 parents went back to their youth about 10 months ago and started a running club to pass the time when waiting for their children at the school, and have taken the big step of entering the London Winter Run 10k on February 9th. We hope that this page will help to raise funds for this event as well as our overall goal and will post updates on this during the next 4 weeks as well as on the day.
