Kildare Yarn Bomb 2022 in support of the KWWSPCA

The KWWSPCA is one of the oldest animal rescue charities in Ireland and its shelter in Athgarvan provides a temporary home for dogs while they are awaiting adoption. Each year the KWWSPCA finds homes for almost 500 cats and dogs.

All the work done in the KWWSPCA is done on a voluntary basis. There are no paid employees. None of its income goes to pay wages.

This year the Kildare Yarn Bomb will be ALL about the animals - we are busy knitting away to bring the colour snd smiles to Newbridge’s Linear Park in June with our community art project.
