Kilgobnet National School Community Playground

Kilgobnet National School, in Beaufort, Co. Kerry is in the process of planning a community playground on the school grounds. We have been successful in an application for some funding for the project through the CLÁR Programme. While we are extremely grateful to be receiving this grant, due to rising costs and the prices of playground equipment we currently do not have enough money to complete this worthwhile project. This playground will be a huge asset and amenity for our local community here in Kilgobnet and the larger Beaufort area. It is hoped it will be a place where all children are welcome and it will provide them with a variety of play equipment currently not available in our parish. We would appreciate any contributions to this project. Thank you.
