Kilimanjaro Climb for Aoife O'Donovan
Aoife O'Donovan was a wonderful fiancée, daughter, sister, auntie, cousin, niece and friend. She sadly passed away after a long battle with cervical cancer on 1st May 2022 at the age of 30.
Last year, we completed a 200km charity cycle in Aoife's honour. This year, I will be travelling to Tanzania to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise vital funds and awareness for the Irish Cancer Society. The climb will take place in August 2023 and will be in Aoife's name to honour her spirit.
This will be a 7-day hike to the summit at a height of almost 6,000m so rest assured I will be working hard for any donations!
The Irish Cancer Society is a community of patients, survivors, volunteers, supporters, health and social care professionals and researchers. Together they are transforming the experiences and outcomes of people affected by cancer through our advocacy, support services and research.
Thank you for helping to make a difference
