Kilimanjaro Climb in Loki’s Memory

On the 23rd July our beautiful working cocker spaniel Loki was devastatingly attacked and killed by an out of control XL Bully.

Loki was only 1 year 11 months old on this date and today would’ve been his 2nd birthday (27th August). In his memory myself (Ethan) and my best friend (Max) are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro at the end of September to raise money for the thin blue paw charity.

This is a national charity supporting serving and retired police dogs from across the United Kingdom!

Many people are unaware that retired police dogs do not receive financial support in their retirement from the force they served with, meaning the responsibility for their care and vet bills fall solely to their ex-handler or new owner. Unable to get pet insurance due to their working life, many are left with ongoing vet bills which can amount to thousands. The foundation provides much needed financial support to these unsung canine heroes.

We hope by raising some money for this amazing charity we can help those dogs that have worked incredibly hard their whole life and deserve a happy and healthy retirement.

We can’t bring our hero back but hope we can save some others.
