Killian’s 4th Birthday Fundraiser

Hi everyone! Since we are one month out from Killian’s 4th birthday on October 23rd, we are kicking off our fundraising effort. This year we’ve decided to continue our support of String of Pearls organization as well as a book donation to the hospital where we had Killian. We received some helpful reading material regarding infant loss and grief as we navigated our first moments and weeks without Killian and would love to make sure others have the same resources available. We’ll be splitting the donations this year with a portion of money going to each of these causes.

Fall has always been my favorite time of year. I especially love the vibrant yellows of the turning leaves, and since Killian’s death, I am comforted that this reminder of him becomes a special part of my running time. One striking thing that happened the year Killian died was that we had our first snowstorm of the season the day we got home from the hospital, empty-handed and broken-hearted. The colorful leaves falling on the fresh snow over the course of that week, it was another sign of him that I’ve carried on over the years. I wanted to share a couple of these special moments that connect us to Killian. We think of him daily and miss him always.

We’d love to have you help us reach our goal and celebrate and honor our sweet boy, who we wish was getting to grow up alongside his siblings.
