Killians Medical Bills

Hello,
My name is Alicia & my husbands name is Nathaniel. We recently had our little miracle on May 23rd. Our son was conceived on a last stitch effort on our course of fertility treatments, we were just checking off all the boxes off after almost 8 months of failed treatments before moving onto IVF. After finding out our fertility treatments worked I got diagnosed shortly after with Hyperemesis Gravidarum(HG) and had to quit my job in education at 13 weeks pregnant because of how sick I was.
At 36 weeks and 6 days pregnant due to complications in my pregnancy I was scheduled for an induction, during my induction my sons heart rate kept dropping every time I had a contraction, which led me to having an emergency C-section after only being in labor for an hour.
When Killian was born he had issues breathing and was on a cpap. Four days later we finally came home.
Excited to not be sick anymore & excited to see family who had just moved to Florida to be with us we went out to dinner. During dinner my son was drinking a bottle of breast milk when he turned purple & stopped breathing. We were then taken by ambulance to the hospital where he would have 3 more episodes where he turned purple & stopped breathing. After countless tests, echocardiogram, two spinal taps, and ultrasounds they discovered my son had a rare bacteria in his urine, this caused his small body to go into major distress which caused him to stop breathing. We spent a total of 12 days in the NICU where our son received treatment. During his NICU stay he was on a ventilator, feeding tube, an oxygen until they were able to find out the cause of his breathing episodes.
Luckily my husband & I were able to stay with him at the NICU since we lived far from the hospital and our son is exclusively breastfed.
Killian is now happy & healthy, however we are now being hit with lots of medical bills. All funds will go towards our sons medical bills. Thank you for helping.
