Kim & Aida Recovery Fund❤️

For those of you that know Kimberly & Aida, you know that they are an inseparable duo, they light up every room they walk into. They are nurturers and love to help others whenever it is needed. Aida loves teaching and guiding youth and works at Liberty High School as an assistant principle, Kimberly, a student pursuing a career in nursing at Penn State University graduate school.

Kimberly has spent her entire life inspiring others through a plethora of things, she has led her teammates to victory and guided her loved ones through hard-ships, all while struggling through her own set of obstacles. To say that she has made an impact on those she has crossed paths with, is an understatement, she is the glue that hold’s things together for so many people.

Aida, carries the weight for those that are unable to carry it, and does so wearing a smile. She sets a great example of what motherhood truly embodies, and is always answering the call for help, wherever it is needed, and whoever it is needed by. As mentioned prior, Aida works for Liberty High School in Bethlehem, PA. She guides students to becoming better both in life and as people, and is a pillar in her community for both her students and co-workers.

On the night of Saturday, May 20th, Kimberly accompanied her mom to chaperone Liberty High Schools Senior prom on the Hudson River. It was there that they showcased their ability to create wonderful memories for all of those surrounded by them. They created laughter and joyful moments from the moment they stepped foot into the high schools prom, and all of those attendance would attest to that.

However, what started as an eventful night of music and celebration quickly took a turn for the worse. After the curtains closed on Libertys prom night, Kimberly and Aida made their way back to Liberty High School, not knowing that in an hours time, all of the wonderful moments shared that night would come to an abrupt halt. Kimberly and Aida were involved in a head-on collision with a box-truck roughly around 3:00am, just a few miles from home. After impact, Kimberly was able to alert authorities within seconds using her Apple Watch, potentially saving their lives.

We are now officially two days into a very long and extensive recovery for both Aida and Kimberly. Aida, while awake and aware, suffers from numerous amounts of traumatic injuries, such as broken wrists and head trauma. Kimberly, while at first aware, with an immense amount of pain, is now in critical condition, with 10 broken ribs amongst a rap sheet of other serious injuries and several surgeries ahead of her. It will be a long-long road to recovery for the both of them.

Two of the most helpful, humble and generous people, are now in need, but unable to ask themselves for your support in recovery. There is nothing more we would like than for them to make a full and complete recovery, and we believe that with your help, we can achieve that goal for them, together.
