Kim Egan Lestrange Fighting Cancer

A few weeks ago my family was hit with some devastating news. My sister Kim, the oldest of 6, was diagnosed with stage 4 triple-negative breast cancer. 

You might not see Kimmy out and about on the weekends (at Manoa Tavern or Cuddys) as much as the rest of us 5 siblings for one reason only .... she was always working . Kim inherited that phenomenal Egan work ethic . Kim has been a full-time waitress helping support her family for over 30+ years . She is damn good at it too, I must say! She has worked morning and night jobs consistently her whole life to, along with her partner and husband Steve, help give her kids what they need and want.

Her recent diagnosis will no longer allow her to keep working. Kimmy has already started her long fight . She has begun her treatments at the University of Penn under excellent care of a great oncologist and a radiology oncologist. Kimmy has a long, hard road ahead of her and she knows this but is determined to fight as long as it takes. We set up this go fund me page to help Kimmy focus on her fight and help lessen her and Steve's stress on the financial burden that this disease has caused .
